Nov. 5th, 2022 01:40 am1) He has two sides, Mika and Demon King. They aren't personalities or anything like that, it's just a difference in his demeanor depending on the situation. He's usually "Mika", which is a kind but very lonely and closed off boy who doesn't socialize much, but will cling to his friends and protect them no matter what. Demon King is simply when his powers are up; he's the same person, but his inhibitions are lifted, so the aggression he feels towards others is easier to pull out. He'll never hurt anyone who doesn't deserve it or doesn't start it, though; he's still kind. He's just kind but not afraid to kick a bitch if they're being a bitch.
2) He can see a person's "death clock", which shows how many days they have left to live.
3) He very much knew the angels were gonna fuckin' kill everyone, because the whole plot was a week-long test. Humans can't get rid of demons? Angels wipe the city.
4) His cousin Naoya is the reincarnation of Cain, him Abel.
5) He took the Throne of Bel and became the King of Demons with its power as the King of Bel. Metatron tried to convince all of the people in the lockdown to kill him and the angels would lift said lockdown, because the angels are fucking pricks, really, but Mika took the third option -- rather than letting himself die or killing the humans, he instead killed only the angels, disabled the humans without serious harm, and convinced everyone in the lockdown that the angels were the lying liars they were.
6) After this, he began to rally demons and tried to go to hell to get an army to fight God. Because really, fuck God at this point.
7) He also crushes on Atsuro.
8) His usual demons are Baldur and Belial, with Black Frost summonable as an independent entity/party member.
9) On Naoya: It's revealed in his 8th day if talked to Amane, that he (Naoya) killing his brother was a plan orchestrated by YHVH. At the same time, it's revealed that Abel is the original Bel who fought against YHVH in the past, and that the real plan of Naoya's is restoring his brother.
10) He only really trusts Naoya and Atsuro. While he has forgiven his other friends for abandoning him, he can't (and doesn't want to) bridge the gap that they made when they left. They're still friends, of course, but he'd never go to them with any real problems or trust them to watch his back or support him. [In the game, only Atsuro will be in your party regardless of Path; everyone else will leave on certain paths.]
11) While Naoya remembers all of his past lives, Mika remembers his "past choices". In essence, he's experienced every ending of Devil Survivor; the only real ending he chose was King of Demons + sparing everyone, but he keenly recalls all of the other options. Even Mika isn't sure if he's remembering past attempts that just reset somehow, or somehow got clear visions of alternate futures, but it affects a lot of his decisions and feelings towards others.
